kevin warwick [alt] is a british scientist and professor of cybernetics at the university of reading, uk. although he has done much research in the field of robotics, he is best known for his studies on direct interfaces between computer systems and the human nervous system, especially by the chip implant he had in 2002 that was connected with his nervous system. he was one of this year's speakers at the swiss lift08 conference.
