sensecam is a wearable digital camera that is designed to take photographs passively, without user intervention, while it is being worn. the photos can be collapsed into a movie that patients can later review to effectively jolt their memory.

it was originally developed as a memory aid for healthy people, but it is now in clinical testing for those with memory impairment, such as dementia.
