phoenix [alt][ 1 ], a robotic spacecraft, landed successfully on mars, the only planet in the universe that has more robots than humans [as far as we know...].
but for further space exploration, in order for humans and robots to work effectively together, robots need to be able to converse about abilities, goals and achievements in a team. this is done with nasa's intelligent systems division's ames intelligent robotics group's projects, such as the peer-to-peer human-robot interaction [p2p-hri] project.
